For over a decade, Cindy has dedicated her practice to planning for women, retirees and for families having a special needs member. She is often asked to write and to speak on the topic of Special Needs Planning for families, and has been featured in The New York Times, Kiplinger's Retirement Report, The Boston Globe, Business Week, and Financial Advisor.

Cindy serves as an advisor to the MARC Trust, Inc., which provides planning, advocacy and service for people with special needs, and she is actively involved in the Family to Family project to create solutions to the waiting list for mental retardation services in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Central Middlesex Area Advisory Board of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation, the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Financial Planning Association.

A graduate of Simmons College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the areas of finance and economics, she is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ licensee.
